CIOJ follows COPE guidelines for article retractions and corrections.

Grounds for Retraction

  • Clear evidence of unreliable findings
  • Plagiarism or redundant publication
  • Falsification or fabrication of data
  • Failure to disclose competing interests

Retraction Process

Retractions are published as formal notices:

  • Linked to the original article
  • Clearly labeled as "Retracted"
  • Include the reason for retraction
  • Visible in all online databases

Expressions of Concern

In cases of ongoing investigation, an Expression of Concern may be issued pending final resolution.

Retraction requests should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief with supporting documentation.
