Submission Guidelines
Coastland International Orthopaedic Journal accepts submissions via email. Please ensure your submission includes all required components listed below.
Required Documents
- • Cover Letter: Include article title, article type, and a brief statement of significance
- • Manuscript: Main document in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx)
- • Title Page: Separate document with author names, affiliations, and contact information
- • Figures: High-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI) in TIFF, PNG, or JPEG format
- • Tables: Editable tables (not images) in Word or Excel format
- • Supplementary Materials: Any additional files supporting your submission
Manuscript Format
- • Font: Times New Roman, 12-point
- • Spacing: Double-spaced throughout
- • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
- • Page numbers: Bottom right corner
- • Line numbers: Continuous numbering throughout
Article Types
Case Report (CR)
Detailed report of a single clinical case with educational value. Max 3,000 words, 20 references.
Original Article (OA)
Original research with novel findings. Max 5,000 words, 40 references, structured abstract.
Invited Article (IA)
By invitation only. Review articles, editorials, or commentaries commissioned by the editorial board.
Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. The editorial team aims to provide a first decision within 4-6 weeks of submission.

- Peer review by expert reviewers (3-4 weeks)
- Editorial decision and author notification (1 week)
- Revision period (if applicable)
- Final acceptance and publication scheduling
